Bauer Visual Graphics, Inc. (est. 1973), is a manufacturer and distributor of identification products specializing in Industrial, Commercial, Local Business and Institutional Facilities.

Bauer Visual Graphics has been an industry leader in service and commitment for over three decades. The company started as an engraving service and now offers a limitless variety of engraved signs, tags, nameplates, plaques and annunciated windows through its state-of-the-art computerized engraving department.

"Bauer Visual Graphics backs up their community involvement with action. "Beginning in the mid-to-late 70's, students from the co-op programs at the local high-schools were hired," Donald Bauer says. "Some of these students have gone on to be ministers, engineers, policemen, and other community leaders." The Bauers have been, or are now involved in Optimist Club, Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, and most area Chambers of Commerce. Throughout history, the company has firmly committed itself to giving back to the community.

In addition, the Bauers have either served on the Board of Directors or are trustees for the Brazosport Nature Center and the Brazosport Rotary Club. The business also participates in the North Pasadena Business Association, Houston Minority Women's Business Council, and Lake Jackson Citizen police academy.

Established in 1973, the company was named KAY-PER Engraving Company after Kay and Perry Bauer. KAY-PER operated at the owner's home from 1973 – 1975, when the business moved to a North Pasadena Shopping Center , at Main and Eagle. The company moved to Eagle and Johnson in 1978. KAY-PER became Bauer Visual Graphics and Supply Co. in 1978 and the company incorporated in 1982. The company operated at the Eagle location until 1997, where the company then moved its present location on Broadway in Pasadena. In 1991, the Company opened its Freeport operation to service the Brazosport Community.

Today, the company, known in the industry as "The One Stop Sign Shop" and "America's Tag Team", offers, in addition to computerized engraving services, signs, banners, and placards , labeling (ADA, EPA, OSHA, and DOT), and sled-contained thermal labeling equipment. Bauer Visual Graphics provides full color graphics for corporate fleet markings, directional signs, banners, boat lettering, and store front vinyl lettering, all at competitive prices.
